The opening marks a significant milestone for the centre, bringing Australia and New Zealand’s ultimate beauty destination to Townsville and further strengthening its position as North Queensland's leading retail destination.

MECCA's arrival is the culmination of a broader remix across the centre, which has included strategic relocations, store upgrades and the introduction of new brands.
Alongside the introduction of Townsville-exclusive retailer Perfect Stranger, a relocated MIMCO boutique and a new-look Lorna Jane store, these initiatives have strengthened the centre's retail offer, improved brand adjacencies and delivered a more complementary retail mix that benefits both customers and retailers.
