Founded in 2009 by Harold Finger and Ben Finger and headquartered in Sydney, Haben is a specialist property fund manager focused exclusively on retail investment and management. This focus, combined with our scale and deep operational expertise, enables us to unlock value across the shopping centre assets we manage.
We partner with wholesale investors, private wealth and institutional capital to own, manage and enhance high‑quality retail assets that serve local communities and deliver resilient, long‑term returns.
Our strong understanding of the science of Retail, as our exclusive focus, gives us deep sector expertise, disciplined underwriting and a hands‑on approach to asset management. With $3bn worth of assets under management, our 13 shopping centres in Australia are supported by a fully integrated, in‑house platform. We actively manage each asset from acquisition through to leasing, operations and marketing – all with one objective: delivering enduring, sustainable value for our investors.

Through our current shopping centre assets, we are operating as landlord for some of Australia’s largest retail chain businesses.

Being developers at our core, our focus is always on where we can create extra value. We do this by a combination of modest refurbishments, expansions, and by focusing on core plus investments that provide for unlocking significant value through planning multi storey and mixed use outcomes.
Currently across our portfolio there is the capacity for over 2000 dwellings in various stages of design and approval.

We are often the largest single investor within each of our Investment funds. This gives our investors confidence that our goals, expectations and performance criteria are in full alignment.
