Ben co-founded Haben in 2009, drawing on a background in property economics to identify untapped opportunities for investors in Retail assets.

As Managing Director, Ben leads Haben’s strategic vision. His understanding of the relationship between asset operations and investment returns shapes Haben’s full vertical integration and underscores his ability to identify strategic opportunities to unlock value in assets.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in the property industry, Ben’s expertise extends across investment, development and asset management. He oversees the investment and property management platforms, supported by a skilled team that now exceeds 130 property professionals.

Passionate about investment opportunities, under Ben’s leadership, Haben’s assets under management have grown to $3b across 13 shopping centres, making Haben one of the largest privately owned Retail Managers in Australia. Haben’s purchase of Westpoint, a Major Regional shopping centre located in NSW, in January 2025 marked the largest individual 100% interest asset transaction for a retail shopping centre in Australian history, reflecting the business’ ability to mobilise for the right opportunities for investors, at any size.

Ben is a Director of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) from Western Sydney University.
