General Manager Leasing

Richard is a leasing professional with over 25 years’ experience in retail property. He has previously held roles with Westfield in both London and Sydney, working on significant assets such as the original launch of Westfield Bondi Junction (NSW) and the Westfield Parramatta (NSW) re-development. Richard has held state and national leasing roles for The GPT Group as well as the national property role with the Woolworths Group for Big W.

Most recently Richard was with AMP Capital where he was General Manager Leasing responsible for 21 shopping centres, valued at over $9B AUD, across Australia and New Zealand including the major redevelopments of Pacific Fair (QLD), Marrickville Metro (NSW), Indooroopilly (QLD), Botany TC (NZ) and Bayfair (NZ).

Richard is responsible for the overall strategic and operational delivery of the leasing function across all assets within the Haben portfolio.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science – Estate Management (Hons) from the University of Northumbria (UK), he is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and is a Licensed Real Estate Agent (NSW).
